New best but still no 11 :(
New best but still no 11 :(
Went to the local drag strip tonight because the weather was going to be in the low 70s. Place was PACKED! I only got to make one run for the night. Ended up running a 12.0 @ 114.87mph with a 1.76 60ft. I'm finally getting the cars launch down. I know its got an 11 in it easy with a little bit cooler weather. I still did not see 1.0 bar during any of the gears.
I have a video of the pass that I will get up later on. I'm pretty happy with the 60ft so I know for sure its got an 11 in it now.

I agree 100%. I went 113mph when I was stock. I have an upSolute tune and a set of Fabspeed Super Sport exhaust.
I'm going to try something before I goto the track next time to reclaim some of the lost boost.

Ya bro...decent E.T. and good 60', but something definitely ain't right with 114.8.

My next plan is to throw a boost controller on it and crank the wastegates up to see if I can get the 1.0 bar out of her. If it was going to make a solid 1.0 bar it should have done it last night.
Any other things I could check to see wtf is up with my mph? I'm at the point where I'm stumped other than doing my idea I've stated.
Also is 3655lbs a normal weight with driver and half tank of gas. I'm 170 myself, and I'm not sure how much a half tank of gas translates to.

Sounds like a boost leak to me. I would check all the hose connections on the car to see if something that pops out at you.
If that doesn't work, you could throw her on a dyno and check for leaks with the rear bumper cover removed. But I think you will probably find the problem by simply looking at and checking the tightness on each fitting.

Yep. You have to remove the rear wheels, rear wheel well liners (the pieces that are the furthest towards the rear of the car...the forward ones in the rear wheel wells can stay) and the rear bumper cover to get at all of the hoses.
But before you go that far; I'd first check and see if you have leaks on any of the hoses in the engine compartment.

Skinny White Dude Racing
aka Chris, my brother, and I for the small stuff. Akram is going to be helping with anything major that I do. For the most part though all this stuff is fairly easy to do since I've been fcking with cars so long. The big thing for me is just reading how everyone does theirs and then going at it myself.
