if you are buying NEW I would wait for the new A8...my prediction is there will be an RS8 or some version other than the regular 8 and W12 they have now...Also, following the new shapes of A6 and A8 W12, I think the newer A8s will get a facelift....AWD on the A8 is sweeeeeet!!!
745 is rumored to get a facelift soon so I would stay away for now although it is a great car...My dad has both and uses the A8L as his daily...He had the older shape S8 before it and says that in comparison, the current 2004 A8L is underpowered....

Obviously I have a love for BMW's, so I picked the 745Li. I prefer the short wheelbase version as it is sportier. I also would suggest the sport package option. It really changes how the car drives. They also have a sport version for the Li. Mansour hit the nail on the head, the 7 will be facelifted for the 2005 model year. Rumors are that the front and back treatment will be toned down and the spy pics of the car look great. You'll be left with by far the sportiest choice and hopefully will finally be better looking car.

I would also go with the Maserati Quattroporte, I had the opportunity to test drive one, The car is unbelievable and extremely sophisticated.

A8 is the best, the navigation system is easier to use and it looks so much better!

you can get AMAZING deals on 745i's right now so i chose that. And, i know it's controversial, but i think it's a great looking car.

Lagonda for me too (the most recent one! not the old ...). Stunning classic car.

Seriously, the Audi W12 gets my vote ... if only the QP had a 456 engine ...
