Is the GT2 nose much lower than the TT
Is the GT2 nose much lower than the TT
I have an H&R suspension and I scrub if I am not careful. Thinking about going with a GT2 nose. Does it hang down much further or will my scrubbing issue be much worse with it.
KPV, wow that is low.
I tried to find a tape measure last night to measure mine to no avail, but the bottom of my nose looks to be much higher than yours. Driveways around her are pretty sloped at the entrance and I already have to take everything at angles and very slowly which is fun with traffic coming at you. I think I would murder a lip as low as yours.

Are you saying that KPV above or 3 inch clearance is spec for GT2? Maybe I need to measure mine before throwing in towel on GT2. Mine just looked much higher than 3 inches. From looking at the pictures, my car would appear to sit about the same as yours at least by looking at the wheel wells.

I am not too too concerned about exact measurements. Like I said, I have an H&R suspension and am lowered a good bit. I scrub if I am not careful, but I am very happy with my current ride height. My concern is getting much lower in the front end than I am now. I was going to measure mine, didn't see my tape measure in the drawer, but when I looked at it it seemed awefully higher than 3 inches or what KPV looks like. I am probably a very poor judge when it comes to eyeballing measurements such as this.
I guess I was a bit suprised if the stock set-up of a GT2 is that low in the front or much lower than I am now. It seems like it will be very difficult to drive it where I live due to the grades of most parking lot entrances.

KPVs car is not set to GT2 height, Doug that picture is a poor example, I can get you a proper measurement next weekend if you wish Doug.

The following specification was followed to set my ride height:
Front axle height = 118mm to 108mm measured from road surface to lower edge of hexagon-head bolt (a/f 18) of the tension-strut screw connection to the body.
Rear axle height = 133mm to 143mm measured from the wheel contact surface to the locating bore in the rear-axle side section (between toae and camber eccentrics).
Incidentally, the USA turbo is 158mm +/-10 for these measurements in the front and rear. That means the USA turbo can be as high as 168mm or as low as 148mm.
My alignment settings are dead nuts accurate to the GT2 spec with a minute amount of additional toe added for super-high-speed stability (this was a result of my forensic engineering trying to locate the source of my suspension malady a short time ago).
The GT2 spec has more front toe differential at 20 degree steering lock and more camber front and rear.
