A new 996tt exhaust option from UMW...
Hi all, just an FWI. I don't have one. I don't even have any UMW stuff.
This is just for interest:

"features a proprietary (patent pending) cross over center section"
I wonder if there is therefore a legal issue.

i will second that - the x over pipe has been around for a long time, so patenting it... hmmm there would have to be some other kind of novelty that differentiates it over all the prior art. hope you have it, otherwise it may be a very expensive patent prosecution fee....

On rennlist.com....
Kevin said 3800 to 4000 or so. So, for high powered cars or ones going up one day, a fair price.
On a patent....all one has to show to make the patent claims void is that it was done in the past. It has been....while it is similar to GMG in the picture, neither is "new" enough to patent. I am no lawyer though, but I suspect money will be better spent by all on being friends and giving goos service.
Anyway, I am sticking with my TWJ. It allows me to get into enough trouble as it is, and it sounds super. It is also about 50 dollars.
:-)
