2003 X50 vs 997 TT

I just put a deposit on a 2005 Turbo S cab. I have a perfect 2003 Blk/Blk X50 with a GIAC flash. The car has 7500 miles. I am going to sell it. It runs and drives like new. I have not driven a 997 TT. How do the two cars compare. I love the Turbo S but at some point I would consider upgrading to a 997TT if they are worth it. How does the 997TT respond to upgrades?

the new car is definitely MORE numb than the already numb 996...but I liked teh 997 as a CAR more if you know what I mean.

No formal intro yet. Waiting for my tech challenged rear end to take pics and figure out how to post. Recently bought a 05 996tts cab red w/grey rag top and int, changed out the gt3 wheels for 997tt wheels that my buddy who started this craze for me gave me. Painted the inlets of 997tt wheels, ft spoler and side rockers, gred to match body. Wanted a cab and did not want to pay 997tt cab prices. Picked mine up for 102k with 10500k miles, came with shrt shifter org price wuz 147k. Have driven my buddys 997tt, wifey likes the agressive look of 996tts vs friendly look of 997tt. I agree. Do you mind if I ask what your paying for your 996tts cab and how many miles? I don't think you will be dissapointed with your new ride. Enjoy!
