Awesome, best of luck to you and my ol buddy Jack. Can't wait to see the thread titled: "Help, car making knocking sound and oil all over the floor, but tailpipes are black?!?"
Seriously though, technology has moved on since the 60's bud - get yourself a AFR or EGT please...

jimmer have never wished anyone bad luck . you must be a very sad person to resort to that sort of thing.. life is a wonderul thing enjoy it .. do not wast it with unkind words...
Jeez, I would NEVER wish anyone bad luck especially with these cars. I don't remember where I "wished" that at all - that was sarcasm buddy. I'm just saying that why go out and buy a mega-$$$ car and mod it and not throw in a hundred or two bucks for a proper AFR gauge? Sorry, it just doesn't make any sense to me.
I wish you the best man, but when you're playing with expensive motors and more boost you owe it to yourself to monitor it correctly and not with backyard-mechanic logic like looking at the color of your tailpipes. That's all. GL.

Dumb question time--Why would you run leaded fuel in a car designed to run on unleaded? Sorry, I had to ask.

Are there any other quality AFR's that also offer datalogging as a comparison to the Zeitronix?
How would i monitor each bank of cylinders?
Is it necesary to weld in an additional bung and seperate O2 sensor for this?
thanks.........Gman

i'm sure there are other units besides the zeitronix that offer the same features, but i'm also sure they would cost a lot more money
the Z is a great unit that offers a ton of features and takes up very little dash space.
no. it's too big for the batwing. i have a very simple install. you could do something much more elaborate. i have heard of people taking the display out of the unit and flush mounting in behind the hole cover that mine is attached to. that would look pretty cool in carbon. the only trick would be to find a way to move the toggle button on the side of the unit to the front on the custom plate. you can mount the brain anywhere you want. mine is somewhere in back. the datalogger plug is inside the armrest storage. you can actually run the unit with the just the brain and no display if you want to. you would have to have the laptop plugged in to see and record the data though.
