have giac program have forgotten what file . hawever we where on he phone or hours to get it right .. would i have white tail pipes if i was running lean on unleaded??? i'm sure i would not be flaming i running lean any ideas have kevins k16s giac headers , europipe evo ics fresh air plumbing evo air box any ideas

If you're going to run hybrid turbos and a remapped ECU, it wouldn't be a bad idea to install an AFR gauge instead of trying to rely on the tip residue. That's what I did anyway when I switched my car to FI....
i have had great luck with the zeitronix unit. check out their website. it also allows datalogging when used with a laptop. easily the best bang for the buck out there and takes up very little dash space. monitors afr, egt, lamba, and boost.

Are you still running O2 sensors ? According to motec lambda sensors last around 50 hrs then are toast (not to mention their function is impaired long before then). If you are really concerned about AFR then get a wideband. Looking at the tailpipe to get an idea of AFR is a waste of time.
Dude, what is this witchdoctory??? White tips, grey tips, black tips. You can't tell jack **** from the relative color of your tips, and certainly not at the right time. Maybe with the car up on the transporter with a blown motor you can have all the time in the world to analyze the color. Stop reading tea leaves and just get an AFR gauge. Jeez, some people just shouldn't mod...
