Garage Make-over is Almost Done...

So it finally got a professional painter's touch...

I'm jacked!!! I'll start getting stuff moved back in tomorrow afternoon and should get on the process of having the separate power service over the next couple of weeks!

Sweet Garage! Nice, clean and it'll be warm with the stove.

Time for some garage art!

Are you planning on doing any kind of fancy finish on the flooring? I always think garages that have that perma-crete colored flooring (or similar) look awesome.

Actually the floor is going to stay as is. I've got a number of roll around work benches/welding stations and a LOT of tool "stuff" that has to go back into the shop starting tomorrow.

I will have some wall art going up as well!

Looks good! How tall are your ceilings? The reason I ask is because I will be building a house soon and plan to install a 2-post lift so I can work on the cars from underneath.

I agree! Looks like a sweet starting point for a great themed garage. Gotta get the crest in there someplace!

John, It's a hobby shop. I did the manufacturer/ Fabricator gig, and it was fun. But I don't have the time to deal with it these days.

Medici78, The lift height requirements very from maker to maker. You'll need to decide on a lift before you build the shop, or you'll have to bank on this variable and build it to 14ft. ceiling height!

Almost done moving back in... It's a little cramped already!

Looks great.

Door was cracked for fumes/airflow... And the stuff on the woodstove was up there to get it off the floor for painting.

I'll post more pics with the "wall art" in place and the other related hardware back in the shop... Still trying to find space for all my "junk"... All those nice cabinets are FULL and I still have stuff to put away...
