How much hp can I get from my GT700 turbos?
Okay so I have a stock GT700 kit with built internals. I have added the Greddy boost controller and 5 bar FPR. I am running GT104 race gas and capping max boost at 1.6 peak. What kind of hp am I hitting? Stock GT700 at 1.3 she made 640 rwhp.
I am guessing around 700 rwhp? What is the max these turbo's can make?

This unit has a T25 type base flange and GT25 type rear flange for the exhaust. Features a huge .70 comp cover with smooth machined bellmouth inlet and 4" inlet. This unit has a .86 exhaust housing in this 450hp form . The comp wheel actually flows 44 LBs/Min and itself is rated near 450hp. Usual ultra reliability and superb response from the Garrett ball bearing design. Sometimes called a GT25/40. Very similar to the HKS GT25/40 but with a different comp cover and different number of blades on the compressor. Great upgrade for SR20DETs and other 2 litre's. A little laggier than the 400hp unit due to the larger exhaust housing.

not true, the k16 hybrids are based on the gt2860rs which are rated to 350hp a piece I believe. Plus you must remember you have a tiny k16 turbine housing. I was making about 690whp Peak at 24lbs of boost(creep to 26lbs). You should be right in that area. But your uncorrected number could be above 700rwhp. SAE should be slightly under.

my turbos have some play in them and they need to be replaced or serviced. Mike at Evo and Alex at MaxRpm have told me that my turbos are not BB turbos. I have been under the impression when I bought my gt700 kit that they came with BB turbos.
Well who's lying?
If I was suppossed to have BB turbos and got non BB turbos then Im gonna be pissed and my turbos should be switched out by EVO to the turbos they advertise!

also are BB Turbos supposed to have some play in the turbine wheels. I know non BB turbos are not supposed to have any play.

Mike said that they did non bb turbos on the gt640/700 to save on the cost on the turbos. But I always thought due to the advertising and statements by Stephen at IA that I had BB Turbos.
Alex at MaxRpm told me that my turbos have some play and on one of them the wheel has been making contact with the housing. This is when Mike and Alex told me that I have non bb turbos and I can have mine upgraded to BB turbos with some other changes to the turbo.
Thats why I would like for Mike to chime in here.
