Hi guys, I'm new here, quick question, how much do you guys pay for your 996 insurance premiums? Can you give me your age, location & rough estimate of your premium? I'm 25 and I want to purchase one soon, thanks!

I'm 41, have one accident and 3 tickets showing on record and I'm only paying $1100 per year with $500 deductable. My policy also has an umbrella coverage of $1m, to cover the bikes/cars/truck/trailer and liability on our land.

I want to say that We're paying about $3200 per year for coverage on my 2004 3500 series dodge (Higher risk vehicle due to the weight), 97 3 Series bimmer, my Porsche, and our bikes/haulmark trailer.

i pay $1240/yr, $500 deductible. state farm (more)

i haven't had a ticket in 10+ years... i think the reason i'm paying a little extra is that i have 3 male teenage drivers in the house as well.

I am 53, clean record and pay 1330 / 6mo for the TT only, plus 1300 /6mo for the BMW, wife's Odessey, and son's RAV4. Two reasons for the high amount. The policy includes my 2 college sons and one of them having 2 tickets and an accident. Plus Delaware has high insurance rates.

jojomon,

don't feel bad.. I also live in SoCal and I have to pay $3400.00 / year for 2500 miles of pleasure driving my 03 GT2. On top of that I have 4 other cars on the same policy - Go figure. I'm currently with the century what you may call it

I'm gonna try that thing where you can register it as a recreation vehicle myself as well. That or get a dealer liscense and put dealer plates on it and buy track insurance, my car only goes to the track, or shop and less than 4k a year.

32 years of age, Pacific Northwest, no tickets in 3 years, $835/year ($300K coverage/$500 deduct)

Funny thing......my EVO is more expensive to insure. My carrier explained that more of them are taken as losses. My guess is the younger less experienced driver crowd is totaling them out more often.

All in all I have a total of 5 cars at home for the family, and yes it gets expensive to insure the Porsche and the Z especially considering they don't see sunlight but maybe once a week each (if that). But you pay for your hobbies I guess .

I have clean driving record so price is fair I guess for SoCali
