Michael Stead is *very good* and an update on PSM...

Hi all. Eric at Michael Stead is *very good*. He took my car in
outside his regular schedule last week, saying if it was there,
he'd probably be able to look at it before the end of this week
(my deadline, and when his next scheduled slot was). By the
next day he'd already run the codes (none) and printed me
a copy.
Today I called, and he was just calling me. He was able to
duplicate my problem with the PSM kicking in for no reason,
and it didn't throw any codes then either, so he is replacing
the yaw sensor and steering wheel sensor. He is doing
this for free under warranty. My car is almost 4 years old,
but not too many miles (~8000).
Joe

8000 miles on a 4 y/o Turbo . That's around $5-6/ mile depreciation. You've confused your Turbo with a 360 Modena , use-wise !

I share your sentiments Joe. First class service by Eric at Stead, I have to drive an hour plus to the nearest dealer and I'd take my car no where else. He has always given me top notch service and takes very good care of my car and gets me in and our without any issue. He is definitely 'out of the ordinary' when it comes to dealer service managers and service departments. He and his guys are great, they always take the time to tell me what's going on, or update me as to what they are doing. I don't give 10's very easily, but Eric and his serivce department earns them every time. I'm heading back there Friday in fact (but to sales)...that X50 is calling out my name, again.

I've been to this movie--personally--and I think I know the ending!!

My advice is stay away from any car you love--unless you intend to buy it. Which, of course, would be wonderful.
