Can't find Pilot Sport Cups 315/30ZR18

Anyone know who might have these. Tirerack and Tiresavings both have 315/30ZR18 on back orders. I'm gonna need them for Daytona at the beginning of December (yeah baby) and I don't feel like waiting to see if they will arrive in time. Discount Tire has Nitto NO1's in my size in stock. Should I just go for them?

I would go for the toyo R888's I heard they are just as quick as the mpsc and more heat cycles.

I agree these are probably the next best thing to the Cups but if you are going to Daytona with them you would need to get them shaved.

After that I think the Nittos are the next best.

if you want to move up instead of down go to hoosiers.

you have two sets of wheels. do what I do. run the Nittos for what ever, street some less competitive track stuff. put hoosiers on the other set.

my first day at Daytona I am going to run the Nittos then hoosiers sat and sunday.

I am going with the Toyo R888's next cause they have the 335's

See ya at Daytona!!!!

Who sells the toyo R888's? Do they come in 315?

Tom, why would I need to shave them? I already get so few DE's on a set.

Zippy's wheel well mods, needed to move the hose a little and -3.5 camber will do it!!

No only 305's and 335's. The 305 is a wide 305 though, close to that of a normal 315.

I had them on my 7GT3. Very good for the street and decent for the track esp. DE.. They have better grips than PS2 and warm up faster than the MCups.

But R888 is the new thing that everyone is talking about lately at the track. I personally hate the Mcups.

This is good timing since I plan to move to either Hoosiers or Pirelli full slicks next year. I've already got my MPSCs and extra (3rd set) of wheels sold (Actually 6 tires in all). I used to run Hoosiers and loved the stick.

The Pirelli Corsa Systems are very good, but I havent heard much about the new Toyo's. Hoosier is a good choice for sure.

I actually got a set of Corsa already. It is really sticky with superfast warm-up and relatively silent and soft, but it is more costy and should wear off fast.
