Not the snow as much as the salt that comes with it...Are you putting the car away? I am still torn, left it in the garage this afternoon and took my Lexus to Blockbuster and there was a guy in a Ford GT!! Is salt really that bad??

BTW, should have the flash tomorrow or Tuesday and the exhaust next week. will let you know if i get it installed. Since i really don't want to dirve the car to TO, I'm thinking I might do the DVs myself, and if that goes well, the exhaust my self as well.....We'll see...

Orlando, looks GREAT! I haven't seen silver GT3 wheels with a silver turbo before. Man, those are some HUGE looking wheels on the Cayman!! Can I ask how it was 'destroyed' or is that too painful of a story?

Jag, yeah, I'm putting it away. Not so much the snow (or the salt - I'd wash it frequently), it's all the other drivers 'slip slidin away......' that i don't trust. Plus, I already got a 2nd set of wheels for the track, don't want yet another for the snow . Let us know how your flash, exhaust and DV's go. We'll all be watching with great anticipation.

Great cars, very nice!

Sorry, I don't want to hijack the thread in any way...but what is the difference between the Turbo with the X50 package and the Turbo S? Thank you.

The engine and HP of the X50 and the 2005 Turbo S are the same, but the Turbo S is more than just an engine. It has many upgrades and some items that are only available if you purchase the Turbo S. Search the forum and web to get a complete detailed list. The Turbo S is a limited production run of 500 cars world wide. 200 came to the US.

Superfly -- My Cayman S was destroyed when I was T-Boned by a guy who ran a red light. The force of the impact threw me into another car, which hit me from behind. The Cayman was shown at various So Cal auto events.

The Rinspeed rims were huge, 20"s with a 325 on the back.

The exhaust was loud; caused me hearing damage.

The Cayman was all show; the Turbo S (with Stage 4 Evoms) is all muscle. If I can spare the time, I would have my car over at the Speed Gallery upgrading the Turbos.

Heres an old pic of mine...

It now sits lower (Motons), has a CF hood, and GT2 wing... and 997 GT3 seats and cage... de-badged.

Wow... now I have to do some work! The big jeep is filthy as it should be! The SRT8 is filthy and it shouldn't be... the S8 died yesterday... all the systems failed on the little screen one after the other over a few minutes then it put itself in nuetral and died... it's at the shop! hehehe... the Orange Turbo one should be built Dec 11th and shipped to manhatten hopefully early Jan, and then shipped from Manhatten to Washington (Seattle) after that... my wife can't wait!

When I get the S8 back I will snap some pics... black on black with the bang stereo and carbon fiber interior.

Seth.

SloMo, nice ride. I am looking into the cf front and rear hood. How much of a weight saving is the GT2 rear deck?
