Just a suggestion, let's break down the Silvers and all the other colors for that matter.

ie:

Arctic Silver

Here's some pics of my turbo S. I hate to dispute production numbers but I believe about 224 turbo S coupes were made and 600 plus turbo S cabs.

I have been researching the production numbers for the Turbo S since I purchased the car new in 2005 and started the PCA 911 Turbo Registry. The Turbo S is a very low production car with less than 500 world wide.

Can you tell me what information you are relying on as your source?

One of my Porsche buddies is doubting my claims.

Thanks..

A comprehensive analysis of VIN sequencing, PCNA, POC and dealership reporting.

One interesting observation that can shed some insight into how many 911 turbos were manufactured is the following. If you poll autotrader.com and look at all of the 911 Turbo’s across the nation from 2002 to 2008, you can see the following totals:
    • 2001 = 98
    • 2002 = 98
    • 2003 = 129
    • 2004 = 106
    • 2005 = 24
    • 2007 = 120
    • 2008 = 124
2005 has a far lower number of cars for sale. The actual number was 34 but several were not Turbo S cars.

OK, tell me what you come up with and I will compare to my notes since some are hard to tell.

I did not know that they even had produced this color. Please PM me your vin # so I can research your car and check how many of the Turbo S came in Signal Breen.

Also, how about joining us at the next OC Speed Challenge? I posted some pictures of the last one a few weeks ago.

Love that color!
