Yes, but if you really take a good l0ok ant ebay and autotrader.com you will see a large number of them are not real Turbo S P-cars. (no PCCB or Turbo S logos).
Also, I have never seen a Yellow Cab for sale. My contacts at Porsche say that only 16 were made. Most of the cars are silver and black. White is the most rare (8 total).
Yeah, but on autotrader, I count 28 out of 37 2005's represented as S's. That's 75% of the ones for sale (one was a GT2) Maybe not all of those are truly "S" models, but it seems like there are a lot of lease returns coming up right now.
Anyway, that's not bad, If there were 200 cars, I would expect only about 5-10% represent here regularly. Of those 200 new, a few (??) would have been bought on lease, and then about now traded in to 997GT3's or something else, so those will all be coming up for sale. Some people just like getting a new car every few years, and damn the collectability. Despite the fact that I've owned my Lotus for almost 20 years, I know of few of those types. So if we see 10-20 here, that's pretty good. If we see 40-50 for sale, well that's the lease returns. And if the rest spend all their time driving their cars (or are just holed up or not particularly 'internet forum friendly') then that's pretty much all of them accounted for.
How many of the "S" cars are actually registered on the 911turboregistry? Just curious. I'll register mine as soon as I get my PCA (Polar Region) membership number.

Mind saying which model? Feel free to PM.
TO keep this on topic. I love this thread. Subscribed. Very nice to learn about the color availability. The S is out of my price range but fun to drool over. I hope at some point to own one of these. Right now my sights are set on a "normal" 996TT with a GT700 kit.
