Corner balancing my car today and found a nail in the tire, and I'd bet money it happened today,

If anyone knows someone with stock MPSC in the atlanta area, let me know! On track in the A.M.

I had a patch on an Hoosier about 8 years ago, It was the worse track day I ever had because I spent the day worrying that there would be something wrong and I never pushed the car. Find another tire or (against your better judgement) throw the street tires back on. Had I had a set of street tires for the car at the track that day, I would have probably pushed it harder than I did with 3 good Hoosiers and 1 patched one.

I'd rather not do the event than put the street tires back on.

ARGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGH

I have some Yokohama Slicks but they wont allow non DOT tires.

I'll still miss the first two sessions. Out of 4. I may try and change to sunday and see what I can find tommorrow, but it has to be MPSC or better.

Put the Hoosiers on for tech and swap for the Yokos afterwards. Nobody will notice, it's just a DE.

Only I hope they dont pay much attention to my street wheels being silver and my other ones being black. It'll be worth the try though, I have expended all of my resources, almost bough a set of R6's back from a friend that hasnt used them yet, but they are vette sizes 275's in the front, which will be too big. I dont have any other options at this point. Plug, or swap.

Plug and Play.
Done it before with other cars.

Had the same thing happen in the morning on the way to the track.
Luckily had the Michelin Truck there and put on 4 new MPCS instead of running with street tyres.
