Rear Wiper Removal

What, specifically is involved in removing the rear wiper assembly on a 996TT?

I never use it and feel it distracts from the clean lines of my car.

Already have the plug from Eric (thanks).

Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

But I must admit I am a bit nervous about pulling the inside panel off the back of the car.
