Proto 650 kit dynoed: 549 hp/ 606 tq
11.5:1 is max rich torque, typically most tuners I've seen or spoken to tune to .81 Lambda which is 11.6-11.7
BTW, the "slow" tune seems to be pickin' up the pace
I had a GIAC, FVD, and Cargraphics ECUs... they ALL were in the 12.2 to 12.4s...

HEY YU CRAZY POLAK.... WHERE YOU BEEN?? im just so impressed with the 500++trueHp of this set up.... wow!! cant get over it!! not bad for the cah you spend on it!! peanuts if you coem to think about it...and it was done on a conservative setting... imagine on a scarier set up.. more agressive boost curve etc etc...
YEah D MAN.... but you ran on really good fuel so u can get away with leaner conditions... it still comes down to that fact that a fuel system upgrade is necessary.

Yeah.
i've seen firsthand that there's not much of a power difference between 11-13:1 AFRs. (you make power through ignition timing.)
the other thing people aren't mentioning is application. 12:1 is totally fine for the street unless you do extended long highway run pulls - then you might get into trouble by the time you reach 185-190. even then, if you get there quick, not much of an issue.
Peter, it's been awhile since i've had my Supra and kept up with everything. But, from what i remember, the engine's layout helped to overheat the 5th & 6th cylinders. So even though one may probably run 12:1 if they tuned every cylinder, most people ran the safter 11.5:1 b/c they wanted to play it safe w/ those 2 cylinders.
Anyways, anything between 11.5-12.5:1 is probably fine for the street. You won't pick up any meaningful power either way so might as well play it safe as everyone has already said.
