1. Rich parents
2. Medical School
3. Win the $65M Jackpot
OOPS, I just gave you three sure ways.
Different purpose
I have had 2 996TT and had one 360F1 coupe. I now have a 6-speed spider. Contrary to popular belief, the Ferrari has never been in the shop and I drive it everyday. The Porsche during my ownership is rarely in the shop too so no big difference in that regard. 996TT is faster and gets ther job done easier. Ferrari has a tremendous sense of occcasion and sounds and looks superior to most people. A 996TT baiscally has the same interior as any Boxster or 996, whereas a 360 does not share the exterior or interior with any less expensive Ferraris, which adds to its exclusivity.
996TT is a better daily driver due to its creature comforts, amenities, and its ability to make any driver look and feel like a hero. The 360 gives more visceral and tactile feedback and is the more satisfying canyon drive.
One should have both in their garages.

Re: Different purpose
I own both a 996TT and a 360M. I don't know where all of these posters are coming up with reliability, but my 360 has had fewer issues than my 996TT. In regars to "snobby dealers", my experience at my Ferrari dealer is much better than at most of my local Porsche dealers.
The 360 is a blast to drive, yes it is low on torque but if you know how to drive it correctly it is immensly satisfying. Throttle response is incredible, sounds are incredibly, road feel is incredible. The 996TT is totally different, mine at 600hp is a monster but has tons of creature comforts, it is my daily driver and while the 360 has been bulletproof I just feel I can beat on the 996TT with impunity.
I agree with some posters, both belong in a garage.

well I dont have much experience w/ a TT but I drive a 360 cab fairly often. Its a toy car, thats it, not a race car or hot rod. Its fun to hit the strip joints in or just pimp around. If I had to choose btw it and my M3 , which I often do, I take the M Car 8 outta 10 times. The F1 Tranny blows, it rarely goes in reverse, I cant tell you how bad it feels to push the damn "pranceing horse" out of a parking spot while a bunch of rycers in civics laugh at you. It looks great and sounds great but if we have to take a trip out, its always in the Maybach.
Oh yeah a oil change will run you $450.00 easy.
