what made u pick your TT/GT2 over a ferrari?
Wanted to be a goer and not a shower I guess.... Plus, I woulda voided my warranty on the F-car within a week of owning it by letting too much dust accumulate
Actually I drove the 360 F1. Great sounding. Great everything but it felt underpowered compared to the Turbo. Especially the torque (dunno what it is but it's low I think) and I had to rev pretty high to do anything...
It's obviously the better looking car and will make the panties drop way more than the Turbo but if you're married you should probably get the turbo anyways.

In my experience,,Ferrari is just standing for beautiful would be ok. The handmake car need special care...like the engine check light always appear and waiting to be towed since it was brand new...I love tt best..
I refuse to pay over msrp unless its a Mclaren F1 !
I like Ferraris, nice to look at and a great street presence....but unless you're in an F40, F50 GTO or Enzo, its all show and no go..
On the other hand, I used to think Porsches were too perfect and boring, until I test drove a 996 TT while shopping for a Cayenne (smart salesman !)...all such misconceptions were dispelled in a 15 min test drive...
Now, with the 550+hp on tap, any other car short of a McLaren F1, Enzo, F50, Zonda, Murci or CGT, would be a purely cosmetic acquisiton only.

I could afford either one so economics were not controlling.

I wanted a fast, reliable, daily driver street/track car. Nothing competes with the tt at this all around game.

My two main reasons were reliability. I am not a fan of the service dept. I also live at a higher altitude and turbo cars have a huge performance advantage up here ... ease of modification is a huge plus.
A few reasons:
Reliability was a factor and the ability to mod a Porsche engine to far and away out perform the 360 and still maintain reliability was key.
Also, the TT was lighter by far and I like the handling dynamics of the lighter car (of course I am comparing cabs not coupes, but it still holds true).
Finally, I am comfortable with my manhood and did not need the flash.
