Radiator & coolant flush procedure
Porsche, Audi, VW, and BMW all use the same coolant makeup....it just has different dyes in it. They're all lifetime coolants now. HEPU(G12) variant is the cheapest at about $9 per 1.5liters(100%, mix 50/50 to make 3 liters) it's just blue. Just best not to mix different colors as it turns green/brown and makes it difficult to distinguish it from bad coolant.
do I need to flush my coolant out?

I wouldn't change it unless you have leaks or need to do some repair work.
When you say 'They're all lifetime coolants now'... When precisely is NOW?... what about 'THEN' as mine is a 1999 and I don't know if this is the same coolant from day one. Granted there is nothing wrong with the cooling system. Everything working fine and no leaks anywhere. I was advised to 'leave well alone' if nothing is wrong and may well take that advice. Then I hear other stories and read that it should be flushed out every 2 to 3 years. If I knew for certain that back in 1999 a life time coolant went into the car then I would leave well alone for sure but I have a nagging thing in my head calling for 'preventative maintenance'.. Does 'tracking the car' deteriorate the coolant does any know? Not that I 'track' but a lot of you guys do from what I read. Is there a way to tell by looking, when a coolant has gone bad? Dammit why didn't I buy an Opel lol.
