For what it is worth:
TWC stands for three way converter. The three-way catalytic converter (TWC) reduces emissions of hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), and oxides of nitrogen (NOx). The codes typically refer to a missfire. However, since you are running cat-less then I gather that the some portion of the ECUs coding has been disabled ?

I personally do not think 101 is good enough for 1.5 bars.... specially with lots of power.
that goes for any car.
Unfortunately only ur tuner can tell you if 101 is Ok at 1.5 bars.

Anything like what?
No ur fine...
I don't think the codes have anything to do with ur situation.
run the car at 1.2 bars to see if u can duplicate the problem.... does it loose power? stutter? or just makes the noise?

Jags, TWC is referring to the Catalytic. You do not want a valve lift fault. I just checked my service manual and that code POSSIBLY refers to a faulty 2 stage lift. Porsche recommends the car be road tested with 2 service techs. One riding shotgun with a PST2 that can force the valve lift change and they log the results. The tappets arent expensive, about 70$ each , but the head needs to be removed to do it. Here is what the 2 stage valve lift look like https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...d.php?t=110361 It is the second animation where the valve extends farther with a larger lift.....
Did you do that for all 4? My car is back in the shop but as I recall the 2 wide-band sensors are upsrtream of the first set of cats, so why did you bung them? I understand about the other 2 BC they come after the first set.
Jags, that is not a very encouraging sign. Hopefully that is just residue from the last time the head gasket failed. Typically you do not want to see any milky, foamy, frothy residue on the cap underside since it can be coolant mixing with oil and then burning off and condensing under the cap....
**** got up this morning and its raining
Its virtually impossible to got WOT in 2nd or 3rd with rain in this car. When it dries up I will set the car to pump program and see if I can duplicate.
Mark I think it does loose power and stutter a little.
Is the sound of detonation that loud? I had my windows up and music playing. My exhaust is loud and I heard those sounds

Thanks guys for the help
Jag
