my 996TT plan?????

Sup 996TT owners,

996TT is the object of desire - my heart says buy it NOW but my brain after reading the "58% residual after THREE years" on 996TT lease tells me otherwise.

so I'm thinking LEASE a NSX (they got decent deal going on) for 3 years for now, and BUY a low mileage 03-04 996TT coming off a lease for ~$75k.

i thought about lesser 996 brethren but i just cant stand 996 *** w/o the turbo wing

NSX should keep my mind preoccupied from the 996TT for a while!!

NSX deal is 999 down, 799/month for 36 months + tax. It is a 7500mile/year lease.

I almost picked one up last week but was too tall for the car.

The crappy residual isn't because of the car itself, it is the lease industry. Unless there is a factory sponsored program like the NSX has, the lease deal will suck. The 996TT market will remain strong due to the very limited production on coupes for '04 and supposedly '05. I believe less than 100 coupes made it to the U.S. for M.Y. 2004. I hear Turbo "S" production for coupes will remain light as well.
