K24 Flash with AP Intake and Forge Valves

Just finished with a customers 996TT with K24 turbos. The car previously had a flash from another company, so we did a before and after to see what our Agency Power Intake, Forge Diverter Valves, and hoses would do. The car has a stock exhaust and headers. When looking at the AFR of the baseline, the flash has the car running very rich. With our Mustang AWD Heart Breaker Dyno, the car baselined with a peak power of 401hp and 409tq. This is about 30/50 low for K24 turbo standards on our dyno with a reflash and exhaust. With the installation of our intake, the car gained where it mattered at the peak torque and midrange powerband. The car gained 16ft/lbs of torque and in the midrange HP curve averaged a gain of 10HP from 3800 to 5200rpm. We definitely feel that with a new flash to correct the fuel and timing as well as adding an exhaust, there is significant gains to be made.

The numbers are here for everyone to have a fun conversation about, but at the end of the day, what matters is that the customer is stoked!

Enjoy!

I'm confused, so you added

new flash
dv's
intake
hoses

and got 10hp/16ft lbs?

I thought I remembered you saying the yellow car dynoed at 401 before when it had only K24's.

Hello All,

I should have printed this with the AFR chart, but it was pretty rich. I am not sure what the flash was but it is not helping the power numbers at all. I think if we took the AFR a bit leaner it would pick up a bit more power. An exhaust would not hurt either.

Beautiful car none the less and I hope the customer has a great time with it.

Thanks,

Mitch Mckee

Classic! What are they spelling!

But really, we wanted to show that the intake is functioning on the car and that was the point of the dyno tests.

Dan, got to admit you add alot to this forum.
I love you sharing your data of customers cars and the various package options and prices you come up with makes virtually EVERYTHING a huge temptation!!!
Keep up the great work with our cars and sharing the way you do. I for one really learn alot from your posts and the dialogue it simulates.

Did the customer pick up the car at iautohaus in Tempe? Car looks familiar to me. I looked at a car there that they claimed was running 1.5 bar but couldn't tell me who's programming it was so I walked.

Dan- got myself a stock '01 turbo... time to get to work on mods.

Tom - thanks for the support. like I always say we have done the forum thing for a long time and as long as it is fun, we are honest, and we put all our energy in customer service, everything will be alright!

Jimmer - the vowel... how much you got, do you want a G or Y.

Did you happen to log boost as well? I would be curious to see boost, af and both plots with a lower smoothing factor.
