To those with K24 Turbos:


How much boost are you getting at 3000 RPM, 4000 RPM?

Where do you get full boost? What is your max boost?

What mods do you have to make this boost?

stock or with GIAC??
I think stock I used to get 0.9, with GIAC 1.1 with some spikes to 1.2

I'm about the same as MSINDI - .8-.9 before GIAC 1.1-1.2 and if it's REALLY cold 1.3

What I'd like to find out is what boost you are getting at 3000 RPM and 4000 RPM?

What impact do headers, wrapping, porting polishing have on lag? How much lower does boost build up with any of the above.

Boost is dependent on many things, not just RPM. I can drive at 3k rpm with 0 boost or full boost or anything in between depending on throttle position, spool time, and load, etc...

perhaps you are asking about boost at 3k during WOT from a stop in 1st gear? or some other variation....

Boost over 1.0 bar is lost if you don't modify the waste gate actuators.
