How to disable O2 sensor ?

Hi,

I would like to disable my O2 sensors (don't know wich set I need to disable) since my car is running Catless on track.

I can live with the CEL, but I feel that the car is hesitating a little bit. Is that something I should expect with no cats system ? Would removing the CEL by software solve the hesitation ?

Thanks
Bo

I'm pretty sure you need an ECU tune to write out the O2 sensors. You can't do it yourself unfortunately.

The set of O2 sensors closest to the motor must remain attached for proper operation of the motor. The set of O2 sensors after the cat can be removed without any operational problems other than a CEL.

I used this product on my 2000 540iA Sport with ESS S/C and 100 shot of nitrous. I was catless and it worked a treat.

Who tuned the car? Your tuner should be able to help you out.
