i wonder what it is, but when i see a non TT on the street i dont even give a second look - they look nothing special.. actually i even dislike the profile view of non turbo 996s.. but i can spot a 996TT from miles away and i drool.. almost broke my neck a few times and plowed into a few volvo's already.. i wonder what makes TT look so darn sexy and sleek? it's like seeing a M3 and a 325 but the diff is 10x w/ 996....

The TT is hot,

but i think real Porsche guys appreciate all models of the 996.

 

Aggressively blunt nose . Same reason the 997 turbo will look better than the " smiley face " reg 997 we've seen so far.

 

The regular 996's are a downgrade from the 993 -- the widebody makes up for this (IMO).

yep, it must be the wide body since the C4S looks so much better than the TT which seems overdone on a relative basis.

Well, personally, I didn't think the difference was that huge but when I sold my Seal Grey C2 for a seal grey TT, everyone noticed! I expected no one to notice. That was why I kept it seal grey. I didn't want attention.

The TT gets a lot more attention than my C2 did by far. That surprised me.
