I asked this on the sticky thread but I guess people don't return there much. Does the re-build or new trans alleviate the problem with different parts or are we just waiting for the miles to build up again and have it happen again?

 

I had that problem on my turbo s. Took it too the dealer and had them confirm the pop-out and they replaced the tranny under warranty. They said that the don't work on transmissions, and if there is a problem they replace the entire thing (which is pricey if your warranty is expired).
