GT2 Front Bumper

I know this has been covered a few times before, but seems to be mixed feedback.

Has anyone fitted an OEM GT2 front to the 996TT without the adjustments?

How far is the fit out by?

When I mean the fit, I'm referring to the ducts etc

You gotta adjust the front radiator. According to Sharky, and the info I've gotten from people that have done it, it's less than simple.

Does anyone have the exact part numbers for the conversion?, it's easy enough to look up but don't exactly know what parts need replaced for the conversion

hi m8,

i am getting a oem Gt2 front end fitted when i get home in 4/6 weeks, its not as straightforward as you would think, the rad has to be turned upside down... lots of wee brackets and bit and bobs to change, also the wheel arch liners, but on the good side A/ it looks superb and B/ it reduces lift at the front end,
though on the negative side it a pain in the **** on the humps and bumps we know so well, my STD 996 turbo grounds out coming out of the petrol station at regent road, so its going to be BIG FUN with the coil overs and the GT2 snout! time for a new petrol station methinks, i will give you a shout when its getting done, i will get loads of pics taken when its getting done and run a thread on it.

cheers robin.
