I think it will suit track work better for you, and most people IMO. This car is extremely intimidating to say the least, and no matter how much skill one has it keeps you back from having the MOST fun out of it and not worrying about messing it up. On that note, I decided not to care anymore, can't wait for my first track day of the season in March

when you say that the car is intimidating are you talking about the 6gt3 or 6gt2

i personally think that unless your a hardcore porsche enthusiast the 996 gt2 at $85k is over valued. and not to say its not an awesome car but, the 996 series is a model that was over produced of all the 911 models well at least for now, give the 997 a few years and in sure it'll break some records. good luck im sure you'll find it from a private seller that doesnt want to trade it in to a dealership for $70k.

thanks for being optimistic but after researching the market 85k is hard for a clean one.. my search will continue
