I think $85k is very possible. You will end up finding a car that you definitely should get checked out well before buying. Try eBay, autotrader, cars.com, etc. Find a car that someone has been sitting on trying to sell since November and they will be ready to knock $15k off their asking price. Good luck with the search.

Stay with a car that you can purchase right from the owner and not a third party.

ixlr82 is infamous around these parts
There is one in Dallas on Ebay as of yesterday that had a buy it now of $86,XXX. I am sure you can get them down to what you are looking to spend. It is a 2002 with 33K miles. Silver/Black you should take a look.

nice find ixlr82... ^^^^^^^^^^^^

i never rush to buy cars because i like to buy them cheap enough so that i dont lose to much in the resale kingdom

i expect to put about 20k miles on my gt2 so getting one at 33k miles does not seem like my best option...

i want one with 20k miles and if the price is somewhat near what i am looking to spend... then looks like i found myself a deal

from what i have been seeing i think that 85k will get you a gt2 with upwards of 30k on the clock.

ya but buying from the stealer will hold you back about 15k more than what i want to spend... more like a 100k for a gt2 if you get it from the stealer, but i do have to agree that warranty will be a good thing to have especially if you had your share of bad luck... knock on wood i am still lucky

I know of one at Park Place Porsche, it is a 2003 Black/Black with 22K miles on it. Ask for Eric Mariezgos he is a friend of mine, actually I know he can work with what you are looking to do!!! No affiliation.
