Follow the Wise MARKSKI input....period.

Speaking for myself, I just keep my K-24 (Stage 4 -600hp) and did goodies (WG, IC's, Plemum&TB) that enhance what I was looking for:
"more enjoyable everyday driving hp/tq (more track predictability, more lineal power ant tq) in my hand...with a bit more on top." much much better low end.

Well, I am happy...yes would like more on top yes but not at that extra cost $$$.

At this point for me improving that 10% whp will not do any better than improving my driving skills that extra at list 10%.

Learning to shift very very fats, braking and really really know how to manage that hp/tq in that chassis should make a big difference.

Hello Mark,
As everybody mentioned, you re THE guy for the turbos, and you might bring me some light in my quiet similar request as Chen.
I have a 996 TT 2003, manual.
I bought Evoms DV's, Pipes, K24/24, Blownsix Intercoolers, Y pipe from RPM North, 5 Bar FPR, V-flow Intake, Wastegate Boost kit and Sachs Clutch, ported headers, and had a custom ECU @ 1.1 bar from a very good ECU local tune.

I m not running my car on drag or high speed, mostly on the track.

I ve order Brembo Gtr brakes system and working on suspensions ( moton ) with Evoms camber plate to increase the camber.

I ve been in touch with Todd to convert my K24 in 18G, as well a Profec and their ECU map for it.

Going to throw in a GT2 fuel pump, but not decided yet to increase fuel linesand injectors.

I m looking for the power on all over the range, f.e. on the straight line, not enough power to get on acceleration the Z06 or Ariel Atom, only by the end of the line by 220 Kph.

I read a post from Vivid that their headers with Tial wastegate increase the boost on low RPM.

Also considering a new plenum with 75mm throttle body.

The car runs ok, but the K24 get of steam, and I m not looking for high RPM power, but more low RPM torque.

Thank you for your comments.

Best Regards

Im really not supposed to tell you this... but if u want brute power... and already talked to todd... skip the 18g and tell him to put on 20gs... same price... I think $1200 or so... get his MAF and MAF housing welded into that pretty red Evoms piping you have there... get 6 60lbs injectors and a second pump from todd and your done.. dont do anything else.
If he sells you the program and the 20gs you will not be beaten.
This is what I would do... and I did drive full 18g set ups and one custom 20gs...
good luck,
markski

Mark,

There are a few questions I still have, please enlighten me again.

"a K24 housing with a 18G mitsubishi compressor. it dies at 610 rwhp"
Is that under the program of 1.1 bar? If so, what will happen if increasing to 1.3 or even more? What is the "safer" bar valve a 24/18g can hold?"

"One can also stuff a 20g compressor in the K24 housing... but you will need extra fuel, injectors, Intercoolers etc..."
I only put on GT2 intercoolers (it won't be enough by your criterion), 75 mm TB & plenum, 5 Bar FPR & a bit more gas pressure by local turner, Forge DV's, UMW westgate kits with reinforced springs, Kreissieg piep (variable valves) and reinforced torque converter. I am looking for a under 650 rwhp kit. Can it be possibly achived by 24/20g or higher pressure 24/18g turbos? What about other turners like Speedgallery's GT or EVOM's 660 turbos?

I am so sorry for my idnorance. What does the "hot side & .63 vs .82" mean?

I only focus on 100-200 & 200-300 acceleration but do not intent to change internal parts of engine. What's the better set up I should looking for?

Turning car is always my only hobby. I won't be able to spend lots of money in one time but a little here and a little there sure do make more fun for me like playing puzzle.
Unnecessary wasting money and time would be avoided under your kindly guidance.

Sincerely yours

Chenshan
