Question Safe Mode

Yesterday after a fourth gear WOT run up to about 110mph, the car went into safe mode or limp mode and would not boost above 0.4 bar. No visible codes or warning lights. I shut it down for about 60sec then restarted it. It would then boost up to the regular level again. Has anyone else had this happen or know why?

Why it happens depends on many MANY factors. It can be anything from octane to a sensor not reading right. If it continues to throw the code internally every time it self checks it will eventually give a light. The system will count how many times it throws or not throws the code. Each system has a specific amount of time then it will eventually clear its self. If it was a glitch for what ever reason it may have not thrown a code, although strange it didn't. Watch it and if it does throw a code lets find out what the code is.

Adding to what Steven said, would like to know any related info such as is the car stock or do you have any upgrades? If so what are they? Seth

The car has a stage 1 GIAC chip. BTW I took it out today and drove it hard with no problem. I got sustained boost of 1.1 bar many times in 5-6th gears.
