Work Wheels and other first mods on Slate Grey

I bought a used set of Works wheels and some new H&R springs for my X50.

Well, the car is lowered and the wheels are on, pics below on how it looks. I also switched the shifter for the 997 GT3 shifter, not the SSK. Shortens up the shifting quite a bit and very smooth too.

Thanks to Dan at VividRacing for the great service. Wheels were just as described and everything got to me very quickly!

Cheers!

And one "before" pic to complete..

And now, can someone help me make an avatar I can upload under the constraints here that doesn't look so pixelated and grainy as the one I am using!! I seem to be forum challenged..

Wow, looks awesome!! What's your ride height at now? Is the GT3 shifter shorter than the SSK, or just shorter than it was.

Try this for your avatar.

Here you go.

I made it 'shorter' so it'd be bigger. :-) I was wondering why you wanted to use the 'old' shot as the avatar. Maybe I just read it wrong. Now answer my questions! LOL.

Ok, shorter than stock 996 TT shifter. Not as short as SSK. Wish I'd taken some measurements before and after to compare, but the thow back (2nd,4th,6th etc) seems to be where it was before more or less, forward (1st etc) seems to be a lot further back, like vertical almost.

Forgot the ride height, whatever it is it dropped 1" all round, 25.5" I think to the top of the wheel arch..

No dice on the new avatar:

Your file of 51.6 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 19.5 KB for this filetype
What I always end up with also when I try and the file down to some limit it likes..

I was just in the process of editing the file when I saw that Ray did a GREAT job. Makes my effort moot. If you still want, I will, but personally, I like what Ray did.

Here's the Alignment lift as well. Better post it before I delete it from my computer

Gives you a change up of your avatar when you want it.

Again, the car looks great! It's hard to believe it's only dropped one inch. It looks even lower than that!
