Anyone know how to fix this or why it happened

I had a small fire in the trunk of my 00 Boxster from a problem I had with my B&B exhaust system (long storry).

Anyway, some of the wires that were going into the relays melted together and I was able to seperate them and tape them. I know that one of the wires that melted together was for the starter and we fixed that. But I cant figure out why the back light that illuminates the gauges and the back light that illuminates the buttons of the a/c don't work. I checked the fuses and they all work.

Does anyone know what it might be?

Oh ya, the analog dial for the speedometer still works and lights up at night and the screen for the A/C still works too.

What are the chances that I would be lucky enough to only have to change the bulbs.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, IM GOING CRAZY!
