Great thread, really useful info, thanks guys.

Nerd, I suppose the question is how much of a risk is it without the higher flow injectors? Does it depend on the use of the car, eg. a car that spends a lot of time tracking, or high speed pulls should add the margin for error, but for a street car with the occassional burst of WOT the risk is acceptable?

The cost of better injectors is not too much. When you mention that the tune needs to take it into account higher flow injectors does this limit you to the flashes available? Or does it have to be a complete custom tune?

What Tony is being too diplomatic to say is that most 3rd party tunes he's datlogged have been at 110% duty cycle on the injectors. 96% is actually pretty conservative in this market.

I know I shouldn't have been using Dr. Pepper as a fuel additive. Carburated?

i would think that boost would have something to do with that... hence we all strive for more power... guys putting on bigger TBs, intercoolers, upgraded springs for more boost, intakes, etc...
I always thought the fuel delivery was the limiting factor but none tuners offered cheap kits liek they do now without having to spend $25K.

Mark-

I would love to offer a reasonably priced kit that would actually fuel these cars correctly.... I do in other markets currently.

Its just a tough sell telling people they need injectors at this power level when some kits don't even come with fpr's .

Does anybody know how hard or expensive it is to have injectors installed?

I was told that I also need upgraded fuel pump to go with larger injectors, is it really necessary and how much does it add?

Thanks man! No excuses now... when are you picking up the 996TT? I'm giving some thought to doing some fab work on the stock exhaust and installing electric dumps. I could use your input.

We just put the RC Engineering 60lb injectors in my 650 kit. You cant put them in with the 5 bar as then it is to much fuel at that setup. On the 16G setup, I would say the 5bar is plenty of additional fuel A set of RC injectors is $600. No big deal right, but the labor is probably close to double that.

Sounds good. So a 5 Bar and waste gate springs should be enough ya? Looking forward to the new invoice!

Dan, do you do the wastegate springs? I only see separate wastegates on your site?

I recommend the wastgate upgrade with these turbos...it adds about 100 bucks a turbo, but its worth it!
