I have had both when I had my K24 / X50
I thought about other flashes. I know for sure I will not be doing anymore mods (power wise), so the UPsolute will serve my purpose.

IMHO ... you should compare the torque curves of the different companies ... and not just the peak hp/tq.

That's just my $0.02 ...

What other flashes out there that is not $2k or more? I don't want to spend that type of $$ on a flash with just DVs and drop in filter upgrades.

I wouldnt even know what the $$ are these days, it would be best to contact them directly. Perhaps they can set a package for you.

I was in your shoes once ... I told myself that I'd be happy with 500+ hp ... so, I did the flash + intake + exhaust.

A couple of months later (when the vanity wore off ... and when I wanted to pick on the C6's) ... I got myself into the fastest spooling hybrids out there (IMHO)... then I decided to pick on the Gallardo's and P-cars instead

And now ... I have the urge and itch to go into the a bigger package ...

I'm sure most ... if not everyone here would agree ... modding is like an addiction ...

My point being ... and sorry to burst your bubble / **** on your cheerios ... but a great philosopher once said... I think it went something like this ... "Once you pop ... you can't stop..."

I had the Upsolute tune and HAVE the UMW tune.

There is a reason that some tunes cost $700 and some cost $2000.

I will NEVER EVER deal with the cheap tunes again. There is a HUGE difference, and the added expence is worth every penny.

My wife and I had a discussion recently about me buying a second 996TT with Tiptronic and leaving it 100% stock for her to drive and for us to use as a travel/vacation car... I think if I wasn't doing track events with mine, I'd return it to stock and enjoy the drive!
