Doesnt really answer my question. What are the specs on your turbos and when do you see full boost? You can pm the answer if your feeling shy.

Check your PM; however, I think turbos are only a part of the equation to making broad horsepower.

I can't wait to see that GT2 RSR running.

I'm willing to bet it's going to annihilate almost any street driven 911 on this board, especially on the race track.

I guess Renntech's "World's Fastest GT2" is about to be dethroned in a big way by someone in his own town...

Loren is one of the best in the business, and makes most other domestic Porsche tuners look like amateurs. Funny thing is that this 850whp package combined with Cary's suspension goodies and DP widebody has been tried and tested over the last couple of years on the track, and is probably extremely well sorted by now.

Jags,

If you are concerned about boost response go with the GT30's like DiveXXtreme had
and Jamie Carter Had (OHIO GT2). Jamie felt that they were almost too responsive!
I cannot remember Jamies' AR size but I have it written down but I would suggest
PM'ing him.

Good luck,

Marty K.

Hamann7 - Is Loren going to run his car? Man, I can't WAIT to hear about that! Definitely one of the sickest cars anywhere, is he going to standing-mile it? Wow. Just wow.

On a 3.8, isnt the GT35's power band around 4000rpm+? How much different is the GT30's? 3700rpm+? But aren't you loosing 50-100whp above 5000rpm's?

My first set was. A few weeks later we went with .82 IIRC and it really woke up the car up top.

Hamann,

By this are you talking about the 911 Design FPM?

http://www.nine11design.com/911fpm.html

Thanks.

Other important parts to the equation are type of heads utilized (turbo/GT3/GT3 Cup/GT3R), valve size, cams and more important than anything in lowering where the torque comes on is a stroker crank/rods. Nitrous also helps.

I'm sure it will ... but that car is nowhere near the street drivability that most of our cars are... It is simply put- built for track racing... and with that said... It would make more sense to compare it to other "race" cars and not street TT with airbags, PSM, etc... I would compare Loren's build to the 9FF D9 that recently has come about... both cars built from scratch... both over 900 hp and both with just about every part custom made...
here is the link to the 9ff car - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ffYokJgg5
