Cool X73 in the curves...Plus Europipe

Today was my first run in the hard curves since I installed X73. We had six Porsches up in the N. Georgia Mountains this morning with very light, to no traffic.

The car's handling is awesome! Turn-in is much sharper and there are way fewer conflicting traits in every aspect of cornering. The grip just doesn't seem to stop, and through very close multiple left/righ segments (basically like slalom skiing) the car was razor sharp and straight forward.

The addition of the Europipe is huge too. There is just way less turbo lag (as if there was much stock). Add much better throttle response and much better low end torque and the total package is wonderful.

It's just a completely different machine now.

Thanks for sharing your great drive with us. It's always nice to hear fellow Turbo owners enjoying all the benefits of their car whether on the streets or track
Your comments are very useful to others contemplating further upgrades to an already awesome package
Did you ever buy new tires, or are you still wearing the Pirellis?

Dock,
Great news!!! I knew you'd like the "pipe" but I was waiting to hear your impressions of the X73 kit. I am glad you enjoy it! Do you notice any differences with the stiffer motor mounts?

BTW, we are all looking forward to meeting you guys very, very soon.

I do notice a difference with the stiffer motor mounts; the power comes on sharper and quicker after each shift, and it's a more solid and connected feel. Knowing what I know now, I'd install the stiffer mounts even with the stock suspension.

I'm still on the original Pirellis. Noisy as hell in their current state.

Get the Michelin PS2's. You won't regret it.

I'm using the Pilot Sport Ribs that provides a much better ride and much less noise than the Pirelli PZeros. I've yet to find the limit on these Pilots on the street

With X73 my Turbo is 25.75" all the way around, measured right after the installation with a full tank of gas. That's down 1 inch from my previous stock height.
