I just read a post about a europipe loud having drone and resonance and I was under the impression that europipe, being one the best, was spared from this seemingly ubiquitous problem!
I have a modified stock exhaust from NR auto which also, I discovered, has some drone at low rpm's. I am somewhat dissappointed at this since my decision to go with a modified stock exhaust was to specifically avoid this problem. I heard others tell me that they all drone no matter what. Is this true? Is this something we have to accept as a trade-off to enjoy the sound at higher rpm's? I want to hear from you guys who are generally happy with their aftermarket exhausts. Are there times when you wish certain "side effects" were not there?

 

I don't know the answer but Mike at AWE claims that his system definitely does not drone. I have no idea.

 

Just purchased one from AWE and am guarranteed no Drone I will receive it next week and will post results for all the chicago guys who want to hear it

I htink they all have drone...I can even hear it on cars with stock exhausts now!!
