2001 TT Nav disk

Well, as some of you have read from prior posts, I just bought a 2001 TT. I was wondering who supplies the Nav disks. The TT came with an Ohio Nav disk, but I live here in MD. The selling dealer is paying for the disk for me, but wants me to directly order it. Also is the Nav system CD or DVD based. Thanks everyone. Here are some pics....

The navigation system is CD based, and you could either get the CD's from a dealer, or NAVTEQ.

I paid $140 for my Cali/NV CD.

Shh...don't tell anyone, but I tried to copy my Nav CD through my computer and it seems to work fine. Maybe we can start an underground Navteq CD ring!

(If anyone from Navteq is watching...this is just a joke of course).

Thanks again, but the independent dealer I bought the car from just had the Nav disk sent to me from Navtech.

My car came with map #7 (Southeast), I just purchased map #4(southcentral US) $140..alot of $$ for an out of date CD that can just be copied. Let the copying begin?

If by "let the copying begin" you mean that you want to make a personal backup copy for your own peace of mind, then yes I am in full agreement.

I'm just so disorganized that my CA/NV backup copy just might accidentally end up in the mail on its way to someone who needs it.
