Tech question???

When your hood is open and the light is on, is the light on in the engine compartment as well. Even though the engine compartment is NOT open. On my car it is.

EM 996 GTS is infamous around these parts

mine too....
but the light on the engine compartment will eventually turn it-self off...

I think this is normal.
