You're better off with the aftermarket because the pcm unit that would work with your '02 turbo is the earlier version with the cassette instead of thr later one with the cd and bigger screen.

I too am contemplating removing my stock PCM1 unit and adding an aftermarket and upgrading everything else at the same time. If anyone is interested in mine, let me know!
