My 2004 turbo cab running 19 Kinesis W/ P ZERO 25 series in rear has to much space B/t fender and tire. Any sugestions? How does it ride w/ H&R W stock shocks?

I can only comment on the Bilstien's, and I will say that I am very pleased with them. The ride is compliant and actually feels better than stock. The ride height is adjustable and so is the dampening.

I have heard from people on this forum that the H&R springs on OEM shocks/struts don't handle that well. They lower the ride height, but cause instability at high speeds.

H&R is the least expensive, PSS9 the best value.

They both have distinctive drawbacks. The H&R does not come with shocks and some say throws off the balance of the car by being too tight for the shocks.

The Bilsteins can start to hit the bump stop if you lower more than 1-1.5 inch as they do not increase the wheel travel. IMO they are the best street setup because they are actually much smoother than stock and handle significantly better.

A few brands of coilovers, not sure which maybe JRZ and definitely teh Moton (SO EXPENSIVE), allow you to lower and retain suspention travel. I beleive they do ride rougher though. Definitely the bets option.

Remember that no matter what you will need to pay the same labor for almost everything above and will need an alignment with preferably another one a month later to allow the springs to settle.

Like the guy above I love my Pss9s. The car shoulda come with them for sure.

I'd opt for the PSS10s due to the weight of the cab. Based on what I've seen in the forums, the 10's are a bit better than the 9s in terms of damp'ning. If you can get a good deal on the 9s, I'd go that route.

I can only speak for the differences between PSS10s and stock. I have PSS10s and H&R Sway bars installed a little over a week ago. With stock, the ride was bumpy when driving over bumps and cracks, and the car swayed when at high speed. My PSS10s are set at between 5-6 (I don't track my car); the ride is smooth over bumps and cracks (except for the big ones), and she is so stable at high speed. I would say it is one of the best mods that I have.

MY996...that's good to hear as I had the same feelings when I drove my car on the stock set-up.

When you drive Sabrina out from SharkWerks, you'll know what I mean.

BTW AboxsterS, Is Sabrina silver? If yes, I think I saw her last Saturday before James operates her front legs.

MY996...yes, Sabrina is silver. She was on the first lift when I left her. Her new shoes were there on the side as well...

On my way to SW, I ended up taking her through the paces just a bit too much and blew some plugs (as indicated by the sudden spasms and check engine light). So since they are going in to replace the plugs, a Fabspeed Gen3 quiet exhaust will be put on (Alex recommended that since I have the cab). I tell you...the things I do for Sabrina...

We should hook up sometime as it'd be good to check out your GT660 kit!!

We should, since MY996TT and Sabrina will have the same legs and same voice (exhaust). Our cars are like sisters/sisters.

You could go the way I did. I went with a bilstein sport shock and a HR spring, the height is great , the ride is great and it handles well. The cost wasn't much cheaper then coil overs but I thought the coil overs were a little to much for my style of driving. I don't regret going this way at all.

I just finished PPS 10 with H R bars. 235x35x19f 315x25x19r. No rubbing, no weird suspension or spring noise. The bars are set in the middle position and the shocks at 6. Lowered about 1.5" front and 1" rear. -1.5 degrees camber. Handles much smoother than stock. My only complaint is the back end still feels soft and wants to step out. I'll take the rear bar up to the last hole and turn the shocks up a couple of notches to see if that corrects it.

I think it may be because you are running 19" instead of 18". I have heard multiple times that the handling on 18 is much better, especially on track.
