funny. sometimes the testosterone just can't get past a few key words, 'cheerleader' among them.

This one is from my house last night. My wife had some friends over. Not easy getting used to a bunch of gorgeous women around all the time, but I guess I will manage. LOL

Have you been in any of the aston's before, some people say they are fords recycling bin for unused parts, would you agree?

Now why would you ask that of someone who just put a deposit down on one? Get real, dude. Yeah, he agrees, he just wants to spend 100k on a Ford Taurus.

That has about as much validity as Porsches being Volkswagens in disguise. Do you feel the same about Lamborghini and Volkswagen?

From the press release:

"The all new engine is a 4.3 litre, low emissions all alloy V8 which is unique to Aston Martin. This new V8 will use the latest technology to deliver outstanding performance in all environments. "

And what from this interior shot makes you think there is a single piece from the Ford parts bin?

whoaaa, Notice I said "some people say" emphasis on some people not being me as for I have never seen any aston before in my life but many of the people who have made the comments have definetly been around them. I personaly do not believe it to be true as I asbosolutly love the the DB9 which I'm sure is equally as impressive as the amv8. Also, just because he put the depsit down on the car does not at all mean he has seen it or will even like it. Many people that were on the lotus elise list dropped out or tried to ounce they saw the ugly piece in person.

Actually the truth is that when the Vanquish first came out people discovered that the toggle switches were taken from the parts bin of the Mercury Cougar. They were quickly removed the following year. The only ford part on the AMV8 is the engine Block and no more. The engine will be built up with all other parts strictly from Aston.

One of the best parts about the Vanquish is the sound when you push the starter button. The car is a beautiful GT.

I agree with everything but....

It's Audi, btw.

Now, I'm just talking about interior. The only other real similarity would be the wheels.
