Stock internal Questions please help?????

If you going to push more than 700 whp what internals need to be done? From what i understand you need to upgrade the RODES and the STUDS and the HEADGASETS. Does the crank need to be changed also or not in order to make the 911 turbo moter BULLET PROOF!!!!!!!

The bare easentials are headstuds and rods. If you are going to use larger turbos like gt30s then head gaskets and special beadwork is needed. The crank should be checked and balanced but does not need to be replaced unless a 8000 redline is a goal. Other goodies include head work, cams, springs, oil pump and so on.

What I was looking at for my setup was going to be a good set of rods. Probably Carillo if they make a set for my car, ARP Head Studs, some kind of headgasket, and a set of something like J&E, Wiseco, etc Piston (basically who ever makes a piston for a 996TT), and having the heads/case o-ringed.

Though it will end being a bit pricey from what I've looked at so far

Also you need to remember you have to have someone who knows what they are doing assemble it. I'd take a look at the guy that posted above me. I think he knows a thing or two about 996TT engines

I just bought an EVOMS GT700 kit... Check out EVOMS.com for their engine upgrades, their GT750 kit starts with working on the internals, you get a great idea what all the components you need to achieve that level of horses.
