There was a cool meet today in West Palm Beach, FL where they closed a main street of a ritzy shopping area (City Place). I just found out about this yesterday, and scrambled and washed and waxed the Turbo for 4 hours last night (till 12AM ).

It was a lot of fun, judging was only for classic cars, but it was cool to go out anyway. The shop that I have do all the work on my car was a major sponser, so my dads dealership brought a few cars out (04 GT3, 02 GT2, my turbo, and CL55 AMG). His shop brought another 10 cars (including the 356 "90").

I actually drove that 356 to the show from his shop (20min ride), and it was quite an experience. Wouldn't say I liked it or disliked it, but I guess it was pretty cool....and scary . Anyway here are some pics I took, the show is on tom. and monday too, so I will try to grab some more better ones:

Thanks everyone, yes we do still have the GT2 and GT3, unfortunatly as you all know the Porsche market has become VERY soft, so we are sitting on the cars hoping the market comes alive in the future.

Ken, we do not own that 356, but it is my shop who we are somwhat partners with, I will ask him today what he wants for it and let you know.

Kevin, the show is also today (Sunday) and Monday, the show wasn't that big, and I don't know if you want to drive all the way up there, there were only about 30 cars. I will be going today and tom., but only with the turbo not the GT's.

Evan..do they have any car shows in nov,and dec??i will be down there for 2 months..i will have my turbo,and gt2 there...let me know..great pics..i love going to city place...my wife and i goto Marc's place ...we really like it there

 

As of now the only show in those months that I know about is Import Xpressions which is the last weekend of Dec. This show is in Miami in a convention center, and its not really like this one. Its more ricersc, but there are also nice cars (mine will be there). I would assume this isn't your cut.... I will let you know if I hear of any others.

If I can make it, I'll drive up there. It's a shame you're not going to bring the GTs back tho.
