Anyone know how hard it would be to have the dash covered in Alcanatara? Mine is starting to wrinkle at the leading edge by the windshield and I can't think of any easy way to repair it. I've seen other cars (usually exotics) with this on the dash and it looks really good.

 

I had the same problem and a local upholstery store fix it for $US 150.

- First you have to remove the OEM dash defroster panels, which a replaced with the sweeeet MACarbon.

- Then you have space to remove carefully just the part of leather that is wrinkle at the leading edge.

- With a warm humid cotton, put it over the leather that is wrinkle at the leading edge for like 10 minutes.

-Cut like 1 cm on the leading edge of the peace of material (plastic grey cover) among the leather and the dash surface.

-Before the leather gets dry, on the leading, just 1cm, edge put a very very good glue.

- Let it dry (glue) and stretch the leather as most as it can against the windshield and install.

A week after, I got the MACarbon parts...I installed ….sweeet sweet , I will write a post this weekend.
