I just did mine (my mechanic did). Ended up doing both the accumulator and the slave...and I found out there is a TSB on the hydraulic lines...air/leaks can cause you to loose the clutch return in the middle of a DE session making one need to double clutch and use the left foot simultaneously to "pull" the clutch back. 3-5 hours+ parts.

The instructor was impressed with the footwork. Hurt like hell.....


Ask me how I know.


All is well now. TSB is 3 circlips on the lines....I had it done by the guys that helped me on the track.....to say thanks. about 1.75 hours of labor...the clips only.

Memory says 3001....check renntech if I am wrong and search on clutch pedal in the 996TT stuff.
