Is my TT flashed already?

I bought it from a local dealer and it is said to be stock. But I find that mine seems to be faster and more responsive than my friends' TTs. As I intend to have my TT flashed, it will be a waste of $$ if it has been. Is it a simple way to test / tell whether my TT has been flashed? (I can't contact the previous owners).
Thanks!

Are you running K16 turbos. You need to find out what turbos you run. If you Dyno the car and find out that you are putting out 400 plus rwhp or 390's on AWD then it is stock, anything more than these numbers would be flashed. Dyno will show the facts.

Just check what boost are you running on. An unflash car should be around .7 Bar. A flashed car should be around 1.0 Bar for lower stages.

I agree with all comments. Boost is another equation here. Let us know.

Thanks all for your comment!
I think my TT is still virgin, as the highest boost I could ever see is a transient 0.7 only and most of the time 0.4-0.5. I'll get it flashed and wake it up.
Cheers!

If your seeing .4-.5 your car is sick.

Your leaking boost, or in limp mode.
Seeing how you prob don't have any mods, you're prob leaking boost.

Thats if your only seeing .4-.5 while the pedal is to the floor.

Agreed. You should see .7 pretty much any time you're flooring it. Make sure you push past the carpet

The upside is that you can easily be running 1.0 BAR! Looks like you have a good 80-100 HP waiting for you with an exhaust and flash.

When I floor it hard, it gets to 0.7 but I do not floor the pedal too often. In DD, I normally press it half way down and it gets to .4-.5 .

That sounds about right for a stock TT.
